NEW FILM HIGHLIGHTS PATRIZIA INVESTMENT IN GLI PLATFORM

PATRIZIA has released a case study video, showcasing their investment in Gli’s award winning PR1 logistics development in Park Royal. GLi is a joint venture between PATRIZIA and KSP which aims to redefine logistics warehouse development within the M25, bringing forward a new era of ultra- sustainable units.

PATRIZIA’s video offers an insightful glimpse into the vision and execution of this pioneering development. The theme of the film is how sustainable, innovative buildings can make our cities smarter and cleaner. By harnessing the expertise of both KSP and PATRIZIA, GLi aims to become the benchmark for excellence in industrial unit development. The video outlines key features and benefits of GLi’s industrial units, highlighting the JV’s commitment to revolutionise the landscape of industrial real estate, whilst catering to the evolving needs of businesses and occupiers now and in the future.

Trudy Revell, KSP’s Development Director is interviewed in the film and highlights that the PV panels and battery storage offer substantial savings for occupiers: “Sustainability is always at the forefront. It’s engrained within our portfolio framework.”

For Luke le Brun, PATRIZIA’s Asset Management Director, the location of the unit in Park Royal is a key factor in the success of the development, along with the ultra-sustainable design. He remarks: “Anything we can do to enhance efficiencies to make effective buildings for our occupiers is going to help our cities become cleaner and smarter.”

PR1 was pre-let to Classic Fine Foods who source and deliver gourmet food products across the UK and Europe. Sustainability is a key part of their brand, so PR1 was a perfect fit when they were looking for a new home in Park Royal. As Sustainability Manager, Sophie Thesiger, says, “Moving into a building like this is a vital step for improving and becoming a more sustainable company.”

We would like to thank PATRIZIA for creating this excellent video highlighting PR1 which will achieve practical completion in early February. A second unit, PR2, is already under construction in Park Royal with a third to follow in 2025.
